Artwork/Disk/Film/Brass Die Storage
All artwork and submitted computer disks are returned after the job has been
completed. Unless instructed otherwise, brass dies and submitted filmwork
(including process films) are kept for three years. At that point, if we have
not received a request for return, materials are discarded.

Camera-Ready Keylined Art
Black and white art that is clean, color separated with traps, and sized to fit
is considered camera-ready. Artwork with rough edges, holes or tape is not
considered camera-ready. We are able to clean up some rough artwork and will
notify you if additional charges will be incurred.

Changes or Cancellations
Changes to orders in progress may require additional charges and/or time. You
will be billed for actual work performed on orders canceled in progress.
|
Damaged Goods
If your shipment has been damaged in transit, please mark the shipper "Received
Damaged" and call us immediately. We'll provide you with further instructions.
|
Electronic Artwork
You may submit your artwork on computer disk for an additional charge. Charges
are based on the number of films and complexity of the file set-up. We will
call you with additional charges before we output films. Helpful tip sheets and
electronic templates are also available to assist you with file submission.
Please include laser proofs of your current file off of submitted disks. We
recommend that you retain your original file and send us a copy in case of lost
or damaged disks. Normal production time begins with acceptable film output
from your file.

Estimates
Most pricing can be handled immediately. On some items, with some enhancements,
pricing will be handled by our Estimating Department. All estimates will be
returned within one business day. Rush service is available if required.
|
Film Submission
Submit films right reading (emulsion down), sized to fit the item, plus 1/8"
bleeds. A 150-line screen is recommended. Be certain all traps (color fits)
have been applied; one-to-one color fits may not register on press. When
combining an overall or large solid background with a screened area of the same
color, a separate negative (double bump) of just the solid color is necessary.
|
Heavy Ink Coverage
When combining an overall or large solid area with a screened area of the same
color, a separate negative of just the solid color is necessary. In instances
where heavy ink coverage is necessary (for solid blocks of color or large
screen areas), we will notify you of any additional charges prior to
production.
|
Lamination
Film lamination bonds a strong, protective layer of plastic to the sheet.
Available in gloss or matte finish.
|
Order Acknowledgments
A confirmation will be sent to you when we enter your order.
|
Overuns or Underruns
Our pricing is based on the standard trade practice of shipping 10 percent over
or under the quantity ordered. You will be billed for the actual quantity
shipped. If you specify "No Overs", your order may run short by more than 10
percent. If you specify "Exact Quantity", add 10 percent to your order. If you
specify "No Unders", your order may run over by more than 10 percent and you
will be billed for the actual quantity.
|
Prep Charges
In some instances, additional prep may be necessary to ensure optimum results.
You will be notified of any additional charges.
|
Printing on Foil
This type of graphic enhancement adds dimension to your artwork with impressive
results. Regular printing on foil and prismatic imaging is available. Please
call for an estimate.
|
Proofs
Your first fax, blueline, or four-color process proof are sent to you FREE of
charge. Please add one and five days, respectively, to your production
schedule.
